EMBRACE THE JOURNEY TO FAITH

Discover the transformative path to becoming a follower of Jesus Christ right now, wherever you are.

WILING TO BE WILLING TO BE WILLING

By now, I trust you grasp the essence: being a Christian isn’t about flawless perfection or impeccable goodness. It’s about embracing willingness, even if it means being willing, or even willing to be willing, or even willing to be willing to be willing. Your primary commitment as a Christian is simply to dedicate time daily to commune with the Lord through prayer and immerse yourself in His teachings to nurture your faith and understanding.

Here are your three simple steps:

Step 1: Acknowledge the Human Condition

Recognise that we have become disconnected from God through sin, creating a separation from God. [1]For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23 [2]For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, Romans 6:23.

Step 2: Find the Solution in Jesus

Understand that Jesus is the answer to all your questions, providing abundant life through belief in Him. [3]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life .John 3:16 [4]Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved, Acts 4:12

Step 3: Respond and Decide to Follow Jesus

Choose to follow Jesus and connect with Him daily through prayer and His Word. [5]Then Jesus said to them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life, John 8:12

What it Means to Follow Jesus

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ by confessing with your mouth that He is your Lord now, and you will be saved. [6]Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your house, Acts 16:31 [7]If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

PRAY THIS:

Express your faith with a simple prayer, acknowledging belief, turning to God, and a commitment to follow Jesus. [8]These things have I written to you that believe in the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God, 1 John 5:13

PRAYER: JESUS I COME TO YOU AND I GIVE YOU MY LIVE AND MAKE YOU MY LORD. TEACH ME YOUR WAYS, HELP LIVE CLOSE TO YOU IN PRAYER, TEACH ME YOUR BIBLE AND FILL ME WITH YOU SPIRIT. AMEN.

What should I do next?

[9]Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints, Ephesians 6:18 [10]Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you, Matthew 7:7 [11]Worried about nothing; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God, Philippians 4:6
  2. Read Your Bible: Listen to God

    • Find strength in community; together, we are stronger [13]Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as some do, but exhorting one another: and so much more, as you see the day approaching, Hebrews 10:25 [14]Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow, but woe to him that is alone when he falls, for he has not another to help … Continue reading

  5. Worship God: Express Gratitude

    • Worship God, praising and thanking Him for His help. [17]God is a Spirit: and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth, John 4:24 [18]Praise the Eternal One. 7. Live a Holy Life: Embrace Transformation

    • Strive to live a life aligned with God’s will, showcasing your faith through your actions. This is easier when you follow the preceding steps.
